Surprisingly, Momotombo Soundsystem is a real soundsystem – of sorts. I wanted to build a small-scale system that would be comparable to a couple of powered commercial monitors, but with authentic DIY flavor. I found Miniscooper in Poland, and worked with Artur to get my own small system.

I was happy with what I got from Artur, although it took a long time to get here from Poland. Since I had zero experience building speakers, it was nice to have a basic recipe to follow.

I learned a lot from putting this little system together, and also from reading and playing around with speaker design software.
